La Plage is the French word for “the beach”, and it is the one place where we are allowed to relax, indulge, and float away. The effortless lifestyle of beach living is the inspiration behind this collection. Life-long friends Laura Kalur and Heidi Brueggeman found themselves living in Beaufort South Carolina after each woman spent decades on opposite coasts and careers. With a dose of generosity, trust, and creativity, they started designing their garments with the help of wonderful relationships in India. Heidi travels to Delhi and Jaipur annually to work on their designs that are immersed in the ancient aesthetics and color of a beautiful culture.
